>You can't imagine how hacked off the Rangers fans are over this. No apology at all, a suspension WITH pay that amounts to only about 4 or 5 starts, a $50k fine that he just recouped from the Rangers because he gets a $50k bonus for making the All-Star team.

>For the second year in a row, 3 of "our" 4 infielders made the All-Star team (Blalock still might be selected). Even with Soriano, the Rangers have one of the finest infields in all of MLB. Too bad we have stolen some village's prized idiot.

Somehow, I don't think the Red Sox Nation thought they were fun to watch last night as they watched their embattled closer blow the save and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. hehe!

As for Rogers, the Rangers' brass was not allowed to do anything because the esteemed Commish of MLB wanted to handle it. I find it hard to believe there are so many other potential criminal offenses he has to review upon appeal where he can't take up Rogers' appeal before the All Star break. Anyway, Kenny's problem seems to be contract negotiations that are not moving along.

Some of the media down here reported somewhat "negative" stuff about this during Spring training, so Kenny has totally shut out the media this season because of that. Apparently, he got so frustrated with the contract talkes, he finally snapped and busted up the 2 cameramen last week. At least the Brass here have done about all they can do by shutting of any further contract talks until after the season. The scuttlebut is he won't be back after this season and may even be traded before the August 1st deadline.
