Right. And he honestly displays the Christian arrogance, the absolute belief that their dogma is perfect, flawless and applies to everybody for life (i.e. anti-choice as in "you belong to us, it's just that you don't know it yet"). He's convinced me that he really believes what he says - which doesn't make it true in my eyes. I've known some people who could force themselves to believe any "truth" they just invented; he's too consistent to be of that kind, of course.
Having no other choice but to spend my days in such talk would be close to my idea of a life that's good for avoiding. Presently, I'm doing it because it's interesting, the dispute is dignified and gentlepersonly, and I can't really do much work with my airconditioning dead. Should be fixed by Friday, so bear with me a few more days.
