>According to 2 Timothy 3:16 all scripture is inspired by God. Paul was instructing Timothy in 1 on church administration, ministry, and discipline and in 2 on being strong in the face of opposition and persecution. Inspiration of scripture is only mentioned once in the new testament and not at all in the Gospels. Jesus does not speak of inspiration with the scriptures either. The Pastoral Epistles come from the two letters written by Paul to Timothy (and the one to Titus). Many current preachers could today claim their words are also inspired by God. The bible may be inspired by God, but it was written by men.

Hello? Obviously it was written by men, but if it weren't inspired by God, it's just man's ranting and railing. If you believe God didn't inspire the writing, how can you believe what it says. You'd do just as well to find a tarot card reader and go with it. See if you can square this statement with what you have just said:

Revelation 22:18, 19: "If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book, And if any shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life..."

Is that something from God or man? If you think it's from man, then just add a comic book to the end of the Bible.
