I'm using Installshield X. At a MS Terminal Server machine's console, loged in as Adimistrator I ran a very simple setup created with Installshield X.

Still logged in as Superviser the application that used the COM (DLL) component included in the setup worked fine. When logged in as a regular user though, the application errors out indicating the COM class definition is not registered. Still logged in as that user I ran REGSVR32 on the COM DLL and all of a sudden the application works fine for this particular user.

Why doesn't an InstallShield setup program register COM components for all users on a Terminal Server console ran under Administrator?

Anybody got an answer?
