I guess you could find out if they are interested in science and if they keep up with current events by asking what is the 10th planet from the sun? Of course they could answer that there are only 9 planets and still be correct according to some astronomers (Is UB313 a planet? In fact, is Pluto even really a planet or just a Kuiper Belt object?) :o)
