We have not learned of any new update to resolve it. The security changes and the registration fixes are not reasonable for our customers. Our app has a directory on the local c: drive where we store temporary files and the resource file, etc so we will probably move our help file to that location and make its install a part of the workstation setup process. That requires the workstation setup be run whenever an update is installed that includes a change to the help file but this could also be done inside the app I guess. The app itself could verify the date/version of the help file and copy it down from the network if it is out of date.

You've to find out what value works for you. Keep in mind that you may open a security hole by setting those values too high.
