Ah, but if you look at Help for INKEY(), you have a numerical list of the chars' ASCII values. Hence you can use:

lnInkey = INKEY()
If BETWEEN( lnInkey, 49, 122) or BETWEEN(...) ...

Whatever

>yes. you are right terry. with that code, backspace,delete,home,end,insert,escape,arrows etc . all these kind of keys wont work. either i have to include these keys also in that list.
