Lemme defuse you. JVP used a fake name at some occasion, and hence the rule that fake names won't be tolerated. Now Renoir was Jay's artistic (or whichever) name, but not his official name - ergo, it could be construed as fake. So he sort of went legal.

I must admit I liked Renoir better.
