>Pardon me for jumping in. But I would like to say, that about 6 months ago I sold my car. I live in a town where everything is with four or five block of my home. I also commute to work of over 35 US miles. But I take a commuter train that stops about six blocks from my home. Once in Seattle, it only a few block to the office. Much of everything else is close to the buses stops, and is far cheaper then if I had to drive to the same places.
