If someone finds an article saying something like this, I'd appreciate you posting it. I for one hope they come up with one standard. I have had better luck with my DVD-Rs playing on my friends DVD players when I make a DVD to watch. Every now and then I have to copy it to a +R for someone.

I don’t remember. Did we have CD-R and CD+R when CD burners first came out?


>If I recall correctly +R is a more recent standard and fixes some issues with the -R standard. I believe that +R is now more common. But if you are just using it for yourself, it won't be a problem.
