That's what I thought I was doing. But so far a simple test is showing that citrix is not completing the transaction.

Lock a file
turn on a timer
disconnect citrix
wait
unlock all

above does not work. It appears the process stops when the citrix client is in a 'disconnected' state.

This sort of makes sense because the exe is running on the citrix box (the connection?) and I guess it goes into a sleep mode when the disconnect occurs.
