Can you dump the data to a temp DBF then open it in the VFP 7 client? Kinda old-fashioned, but should be fast.

In the server, the records are gathered, and I used CURSORTOXML to return an XML string. In my client, I am using XMLTOCURSOR to pout the string back into a cursor. This is taking forever, and I am pretty sure the part taking the longest is the conversions. Is there a better way to do this?
