Pat,
At first I had no clue what you were talking about but now I see that there is an option for showing misc files (I have mine turned off, I think that is default).
The reason I am replying to your post is because I can not see a reason to use the misc folder. I always add my own folders to the solution explorer to separate similar parts of the project. When I add a folder and add files to the folder the files are sorted alphabetically.

I am sure you can drage the files in the misc folder to the appropriate order.

Hope this helps.

Einar

>Has anyone used the Miscellaneous Files folder that you can use in the Solution Explorer? Once you open files that are outside of the projects they are automatically added to this folder in the Solution Explorer. Does anyone know how to keep the files sorted within this folder? If you close and reopen the solution, they are then sorted. I can't figure out how to keep them sorted as you are working in the Solution Explorer.
