You are missing the point here. The circumstances are different than in previous times. Fox developers can't ignore the changes ocurred in the VFP team this year, specially the ones at the Test Team as described by John Koziol's, on a different thread here on the UT, as his reasons for leaving MS.
Maybe Jim thought about this, maybe not, I don't know, but his comment rang a bell on me.
In any case my point is, and I think is a valid question, how much testing the users will be doing now that previously was done by the Test Team. IOW, how else would they do it (if not with the cooperation of fox developers) now that, as it seems, the Test Team has gone through radical changes.
Don't get me wrong, I think feedback from the community is great but it has to be in addition and subsequent to methodical testing procedures, and what I am questioning is how much of each are we getting in this case.
Not big deal from my side, just a cautious concern.
