Hi Hilmar,
thanks, as Imentioned to Borislav, I thought someone had managed to get it to work on Win 95 and NT4.
>>> It is still the operating system that is driving the decision. More than 50% of their users are still on Windows 95,98 or ME. And their customers have no intention of upgrading without a much more compelling reason.
>>>
>>>And to emphasize my point, my next contract is upgrading an application used by the Elks Lodges to, you guessed it, VFP 6 for exactly the same reason. The large majority of their users are still running 95, 98, or ME.
>>>
>>
>>I thought VFP7, 8 and 9 runtimes could work on all of those operating systems and it is only the development version that is a problem? Is that correct?

>VFP 6 & 7: Windows 95 or NT 4
>VFP 8 & 9: Windows 98 (NT 4 no longer officially supported)

>So version 8 or later is a problem only if you expect many computers to continue using Windows 95. In Bolivia, this was the case a few years ago, but more recently, most computers can be expected to have Windows 98 or better.
