I read somewhere that 75% of black males between 15 and 25 years old (don't quote me on the age group) have had problems with police.
Based on the above, and assuming that it's true, Bennet's argument, regardless of its bizarreness or political incorrectness, is sound. Reductio ad absurdum...a high % of sex offenders in this country are white male. Let's take comparable pro-active measures to cut down on child molesters.
Here's another good example (imo): if we kill all the deer in the country that would reduce the incidence of lime disease. I don't think it's a good idea, but that would be one of the results of implementing it. Deer don't have much "choice" in contributing to lime disease. Individuals make choices on crime. Bennett's first reaction implies that a particular race largely can't make the right choice.
