Did that straight after leaving message, found article detailing SMB issue with Windows 200 Server, got their hardware people to upgrade to SP4.

Did not find that one, I'll see if it applies.

Did that too! great minds think alike, also copied / deleted / renamed so that files not on same area of physical disk.
