I wasn't trying to answer your question; just commenting.
The commercial must just run over here. It's for Polaner All Fruit. I table of very proper English people are having tea with a very stereotyped American. Everyone says, "Please pass the Polaner All Fruit." Then he suddenly blurts out, "Please pass the jelly!" in a very country-mid-western accent. Everyone else at the table is taken aback, and one older lady acts like she's going to faint.

>>>BTW, by "jelly" do you mean that which wobbles and comes from a mould, or a fruit preserve you spread on bread. I think what to us is jelly, to you is jello, and what to you is jelly to us is jam. :-)
