Can you try switching the cables between the two?

The only reason I ask is that a few years ago I bought a Dell notebook and they sent me a printer, which I gave to my daughter.
She reported that it was only "printing blank sheets". I told her it was free, so ditch it.
Her (now) husband switched the cable with the one from his printer and it started printing properly.

good luck

>We have two Zebra 4M 300 dpi label printers in the office, installed on two machines. One prints fine, however the other one prints blanks, except during the test. The one that prints has an older version of the driver for W2K, and we've tried several drivers, including third-party (from nicelabel.com ), and whatever we try, it either errors out, or prints blanks.

>You've guessed it, we can't find the driver which is on the machine where it works fine, and the newer driver is misbehaving.

>The printing method we use is Excel automation. Even printing directly from Excel works just the same - blank.
