Version 1.4 installed fine on my development machine, which has Visual Studio 2003 installed on it. My production web server has the .Net Framework 2003 installed on it, but not Visual Studio. I got this error when installing on my production server. I did not get that error when installing the previous version of Mere Mortals on my production server. As a best practice, would you recommend not installing the entire Mere Mortals Framework on production servers? I did get my site working by manually adding a few of the MM assemblies to the global assembly cache on that server.
