Hi David ---

I should have been more verbose...I was mainly trying to distinguish between wrapper classes built into an app and DLLs -OR- EXEs speed-wise. In essense, you are gonna be slower using a DLL or EXE rather than a project VCX.

>In my server testing calls to an EXE take about twice as long as calls to a DLL. This is only significant though if you anticipate lots of calls into the server, and in our case for a real-time system we anticipate peak hits on the order of 200 calls/second with steady state around 20 calls/second. A P2-300 class machine under Win95 can make on the order of 500 calls/second when you actually do something like table access.
