>Going from 56K to T1 will certainly make a big difference. You may still have some work to do as far as making as much of your data access Rushmore optimizable as possible and limiting the amount of data returned by queries or views. You should be able to attain usable performance on T1, but you may still find that your application is fairly sluggish. Remember, a T1 is about 1/6 as fast and 10 Mb ethernet and 1/60 as fast as 100 Mb ethernet.

I do not no much about network (WAN) lines. But, are you saying
10 Mb ethernet and/or 100 Mb ethernet is the way to go as far as data lines
are conerned? and, is T1 not an upgrade to today standards.
Also, - were can I find out more on TRANSFER RATE? (T1,10/100 MB ethernet, etc)
