Marcia,

Did you happen to see my other post to Terry? (Message#1058707) Are you saying that this is normal behaviour for a combobox ... simply taking advantage of the When() event causes different behaviour?

In the case of Message#1058707, I have no code in the combobox ... nothing to add items to the cursor, etc. (I realize I'll need that in the long run but I'm trying to get down to basics here). The only difference between the first run and the second is adding a Return .T. in the where() clause of the combobox.
