They lose their jobs because of a few reasons - main is American way of thinking, like :
- cutting expences and making more money(profit) in the moment without taking in account what will happens in the future.
- buying as cheapest as possible goods, instead of to make cost-quality decision
Second is posibility to take advantage from high qualified people all over the world. With Internet connection world become small village and it is very easy to hire most qualified for your project(which guarantee you success) instead of to try to train some with lower qualification.

If in old times we try to train our stauff for 6-12 months, now I couldn't afford this. Investors couldn't aford someone to study on their projects.
They like top-noch code written very fast.
