Your suggestion of supporting only candidates who have blogs reminds me of a recent cartoon in The New Yorker. Two dogs are talking. One says to the other, "I had a blog for a while but decided to go back to incessant mindless barking." LOL

The "Today I had oatmeal for breakfast" style of blog doesn't do much for me, either.

There are some good blogs out there but separating the wheat from the chaff seems like a task for those who spend way too much time online. (He says as he spends way too much time online....)
