Not a CPU issue just data as far as I determine. As always the issue is reports. I'm considering making a data warehouse server and just run reports from there. I think I can setup a storage location for reports - making copies of the data 2 or 3 times daily. Instead of using the second NIC as in teaming NIC I think I'll use it to connect to the storeage server. This should allow the main server to off load the data transfer to the storage server without overloading the main server. Then when reports are run they will not load the main server NIC. Not really sure it will work but it is worth a try. I found software that cost $25.00 and uses old hardware for the NAS. Very cool.
