But the 'stiffs' never lasted. Only those with some real talent stayed around. Same with the short guys. Calvin Murphy didn't make the hall of fame by being 7' tall. Muggsy Bogues was only 5'3" but stayed around for years. In fact the first time I saw him on a court before a game, I thought to myself, "Oh, look, somebody brought their kid. Isn't that cute."
