1. Is there a way to manually change a file version number in Vault?
2. Why are my paired files showing different version numbers?

Facts
I am testing Vault. For reasons that I cannot explain, sometimes file pairs (myform.scx, myform.scx; myclasslib.vcx,myclasslib.vct) after checkin have different version numbers. I am very careful to check out both files of the pair at the same time; both are checked in at the same time.

Any light that you can shine on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
