David;
If you read a previous post of mine I would conclude that not many Suni votes were cast "Yes". In fact it is evident that the majority of Suni votes were "No".
When you state, “many of them voted YES”, then I would like to know what you mean by “many”? It seems as though (if you can believe the left wing biased media accuracy) not even a simple majority of Suni voted YES in any of the three major provinces.
I guess that I am missing something. Yes the message is that the constitution in Iraq was approved. With so much disapproval based upon the published vote counts, it seems evident that there is a potential problem just waiting to happen. Just call me a worry wart or a concerned person that what these numbers indicate is peace will not soon come to Iraq.
Kurds 98% Yes
The Sunni areas:
Anbar 96% No
Salahuddin 81% No
Nineveh 55% No
Looked at a different way:
Kurds 2% No
The Sunni areas:
Anbar 4% Yes
Salahuddin 19% Yes
Nineveh 45% Yes
Again, "many of them voted YES". How many is many?
Tom
