>>>Agreed that they are sneaky. And I have the impression, possibly mistaken, that a unified Korea is a goal of both north and south.

>>Unfortunately I don't see a peaceful way to unite the two as long as current N. Korean gov't is in place.
>>As a Korean-American, I have not a single grain of trust in the N. Korean gov't.

>>>By the way, something I wouldn't have said 5 years ago is that 'those Americans are sneaky', since the Iraq war justification.

>From my limited point-of-view I can see no other option than the north be 'absorbed' by the south and never the other way around.
>If the younger South Koreans have other possible visions then I'd have to say that naive is polite and foolish minimally correct.

>As regards bashing President Bush I still feel that the real problem is that he trusts his advisors too much and, worse, sticks by them even in the face of overwhelming evidence of gross mis-advising. The president, and thus the country, naturally get tarred with those mis-advisings.
>I continue to believe that a huge majority of U.S. residents are upset by the overall de-generation of government there and the image of the U.S. seen now by other countries.
