>I have asked the Anti-Trust Division of the New York Attormey General's office to respond on this issue(tying). Perhaps there is some aspect of the various state's current anti-trust action against MS which would have bearing on this issue. For some time,I have been contemplating a class action against MS on this issue and others. If you come across other articles concerning MS's bad behavior please let me know.

Whil posted something here - once - the only time he ever posted (i think). I could not find his post but message #776459 should relate the excitement about winehq and VFP. We were giddy - and then the man popped us a good `un!

It not so much "bad" beghavior as it is "bad" business. Personally, I liked it better when they scheduled hemp sessions in the hot tub. But instead, Balmer tells us "using Linux is un American". Balmer and Bill only donated to republicans (both sides of the isle are equally corruptable - why not spread the payola around). Why have enemies when those kinds of "bribes" are tax deductable. It didn't make sense. Then our new DoJ drops the "break up" we had been hoping for.

Others suspect that many of the [sofar] documented secutity flaws that were "isolated" by hackers and concerned NetWork engineers, were really just feeble attempts to facilitate an invasion of privacy (payback for ropping the suit?). The problem is that Bill and Steve were ivy leaguing it while the west coast free speech movement was inventing the technology that started them on the road to sucess (DR DOS).

But this has caused good things to happen. Better port sniffers. Off trunk internets (I guess they're bouncing analog off orbiting hamm radio "ballons") is an emerging technology. More work is being done with Linux. The CHinese are inventing an operating system. Evolution at work! Bill Gates Senior (Bill's father) has become a progressive icon (of sorts).

MS has forgot one lesson of history - squeeze the market - and you will spring a bunch of leaks. We can't forget the innovation MS gave the world and the affect it has had on our lives - but we can't stop them from shooting themselves in the foot, either!:-)
