HELP! Registering Scrollbars OCX fails during Setup in Win95
My program uses the Vision Software's Horizontal & Vertical Scrollbars(SCRLH32.OCX & SCRLV32.OCX), as an OLE Control (OCX). I got the registered version from Vision Software.
Everything is OK during design time, but not with the runtime version.
In the Setup Wizard screens, I checked out the two OCX as OLE controls, to force the Setup program to register the files. I think it's OK.
But when I create the Setup Disks and install the program, the Setup program shows a message box with a "Setup was not successful" text, at the end of the installation.
And then, when I run the program, the VFP runtime cannot load the OCX from the windows\system directory, because it's not registered in the Windows95 registry.
This is not the case in some computers.
I tried to register the OCXs manually, with the REGEDIT program, importing the Keys from another computer, but then the VFP display an OLE error 7.
What i'm doing wrong ??
