Borislav's fix did the trick.

  • Make sure that report environment is not saved with report

  • Make sure that you've default WIndows printer on your PC and it's accessible at the time when report runs.

    I almost NEVER save the report environment. Causes nightmare behaviour!

    and I tried all variations on default printers being none, network, local, generic etc. Nothing made any difference.
