Do you really believe the statements you are making such as "Show me proof that it isn't working. The Iraqi terrorists are losing. The fight is drawing jihadists in that might otherwise be going to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Europe...".

Yea, thank's to us starting a war in Iraq we were able to minimize the casualties from the Madrid and London bombings.

What flavor koolaid do you drink when you wake up in the morning?

>>The US has WMD's. George Bush has attacked more countries that Saddam Hussien did. Let's liberate Americans.
>
>C'mon Evan, you're brighter than that.
>
>>Show me any proof that the US is safer from terrorists before and after the invasion of Iraq. Going in and engagin the insurgents in a way the the US can
>>t seem to win, can only embolden them and sharpen their skills.

>Show me proof that it isn't working. The Iraqi terrorists are losing. The fight is drawing jihadists in that might otherwise be going to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Africa, Europe...

>>You've got to be kidding. Show me another middle eastern country with as much fighting as Iraq. It is the most unstable in the region.
>
>You misread my statement. But consider the rest of the region. Syria is a dictatorship, Lebanon was until very recently controlled by Syria. Saudi Arabia is controlled by a patriarchal, fundamentalist Islamic clan. Iran is now being run by Shiite hard-liners. Even our nominal ally Pakistan is under military rule.
>
>And in all of those countries, unemployment is rampant, opportunities poor, and the population growing. Where do you think it's heading?
>
>>>The Islamic extremists hated us before...before Iraq, before Afghanistan, before 9/11. And they will continue to do so unless the imbalance between haves and have-nots over there is solved. Democracy is the only way that the Arab street is going to get a grip on their problems. Someone has to help them build it.
>>
>>After all this, how did you and I end up with the same conclusion?
>
>'Cause it's the only logical one.

(On an infant's shirt): Already smarter than Bush
