I have a postgres app that I have not had to touch for over two years. I call the client and ask if all is well. I login to the Linux server and ran 'top' and it hasn't been re-booted for the last 295 days. I think the only re-boot was to clean the computer.

Anyway the Postgres app uses the ODBC connection without issues. I know that the table is taking about 1Gb of disk space but I don't know about the tables in terms of records.

As far as the xbase stuff I'd have to check. I've never used it. With Postgres I used the DB to deal with the multi-user issues. It is builtin.
