I know this has been discussed many times before, but I just had occasion to look up an article in a FPA from 1996... on page 74 of the 83 page December issue!
The latest issue has 30 pages.
Glad to see VFP has gotten so much simpler since then!
Kidding aside... I know the publishing biz has fallen on hard times, and .NET mag scripts have plummeted, but is there no resource for a VFP newbie to learn the basics anymore? Michael,
First, Hentzenwerke publishing has a # of good VFP books on their website (including a new one on what's new in VFP9). And even though FPA and Foxtalk don't have as many pages as they used to, I believe a subscription gives you access to their article archives. So a modest investment gives one access to a ton of information.
Also, a PUTM membership here gives you searchable access to years worth of topics. So there are plenty of resources available for a VFP newbie.
As for the .NET mags, CoDe magazine has plenty of .NET content with a healthy page count.
