Thanks, Mike.

As to the app "built before your eyes" ... we got those same demos and more than one Fox team member winced at the idea. I (for one) don't want simplicity, I want flexibility. Don't show me how Joe Shmoe can build a form to modify enterprise data; show me what a professional developer can do.

As to your boss...welll....look around your workplace and find the "Compelling App" that needs ASP.NET. Feel free to email me about and to explain the "Compelling App" theory. :-)

Let me count the ways -- better integration of testing tools into VS, better integration of version control into VS, the improvements in SQL Server, some of the team tools, and, especially, the part that has me itching to go: ASP.NET 2.0. Even discounting the demo effect, where precooked components are plugged into an app that is supposedly being built before our eyes, it was way cool. Everyone here please email my boss that Mike needs to work on an ASP.NET project ASAP ;-)
