So you're saying it does not conflict with reality to say that there are Iraqis who want to join the army to provide security to their people?

And I agreed. I then pointed out that not all 212,000 share this exact reason. I suggested some are in the army because they know their freedom depends on a government that can protect those freedoms.

Then you objected.

But if we're going to have a productive conversation, we should hope that the claims being made are meaningful and that you'd be willing to support a claim that there is disagreement over.
