You shouldn't put all of Washington state in the same category as west of the Cascades. Over here on the east side of the mountains, it *does* get cold, it *does* snow (and we don't shut down everything), and it does get very, very hot in the summer and I *definitely* need A/C then!
So, rather than saying "Washington" weather, you should have said Seattle weather or Puget Sound weather. <g>

>Personally, I love Washington weather. It rarely gets so cold that it snows. And, when it does, the state literally shuts down. The streets are bare of cars, and the stores close down. I mean, even a half a inch will bring the state to a halt. Also, in the summer, it rarely get over 80 (f) dagrees.
