From the wikipedia, I already got a failry good impression of what kind of man he was. In short, a man, who had the courage to disregard customs and looked at the stupidity in the world. These are the kind of persons I admire: Beeing able and having the courage to stand up and say what he thinks needs to be said. Not as an act to get personal fame out of it, but just following his heart.

I did not read all of the link, but it seems he had a greate sense of humor and dared to himuliate religion and looked at the rational stupidity of it.

I think I'll like his reading.
