Help me understand.
1)You have a UNIX client.
2)You have VFP "stuff" on a Windows Server
3)You desire your UNIX client to transact with the VFP "stuff" on your windows server?

I don't know about SOAP. With XMLHTTP I have been able to "drive" a foxISAPI VFP Server. Swaps big XML containers really - really fast. Have you assessed XMLHTTP?

I've heard XMLHTTP described as the glue of the internet. It almost eliminates the need for branded "carriers" - at least with the stuff I have been doing.

Since I got you on the phone and you may be up on all the Juicy IT gossip in Israel - is their any link between "First 4 Internet" (RootKit) in the UK and the PI's and worm developers that were popped in Tel Aviv in May?

PS - Love your new hair:-)

>Is it possible to consume a VFP-generated web service from Unix? I generated the web service using the vfp wizard/soap toolkit, and i was under the impression this is not achievable ( good look trying CreateObject("MsSoap.SoapClient") from Unix :-) ).
>In the meantime, i created an ASP wrapper that calls the web services and they just post the data to this asp page, but the guy at the other end send they consume soap web services by entering soap:action clauses in the XML. Any clues?
