I took Basic Training there July-Aug of 1971. I had the best BT experience of anybody with whom I've compared. Reasonably cool summer weather, no rain, Mt. Ranier to look at when we came off the range, and we were the last training cycle to use the barracks. The DI's were not as strict on stripping, waxing, buffing the floors as any place else I heard about.
