Instead of trying to recreate the form, you could open it as a table and look for the records with the objname matching your pageframe. Then delete that record, and probably the pages and objects as well from the screen table.

Thanks for the response.

I get the following error:

"Error loading file - record number 32. Fasshapecontrol2.Parent: Object class is invalid for this container."

The Fasshapecontrol2 refers to a shapecontrol contained in one of the tab frames. It's as if things (references to controls??) have gotten shifted in the table for the .SCX???
