For an onsite contractor's job, I was asked if I would bring in my own PC from home. This was back about 8 years ago, so it wasn't like he was asking me if I had a laptop. I thought that was funny, and because I could tell I didn't want the contract, told him so. Humor is not nearly as universal as people say. <g>
