What I do is simply:
- Add the tables to the DE
- In the DE designer delete the reln. line between the parent-child (where the parent is master to the child) - I usually get rid of these anyway, unless I have a scenario like this, as they can be a pain.
- Redraw a reln between the keys, from child to parent, effectively reversing the reln (this is only temp. for the life of the form and doesn't change anything in the database)
Job done: the child recs follow along like sheep when you move the rec pointer in the parent
