Another use for OOP reports might be the ability to add on properties or methods as needed, as opposed to adding functions to fields referring to procedures in a program. In one report I had to recalculate several columns, since they were in fact averages of averages and not all that accurate using the built in calculations. I wrote a small procedure to recaculate the averages row by row, but when previewing the report it's very ineffecient.

I just recall how it was promised that the Report writer would be updated in VFP 3, then again in VFP 5, then again in VFP 6. now once again it's off on the horizon. I'm not holding my breath. :)
