All,

Finally today I got a Dell Latitude 610 with 2 GB of memory.
Intel Pentium M 2.13 GHZ, 80 GB hard disk, internal wireless card.
4 USB ports, DVD ROM. XP Professional.

Not bragging, just informing, thanks for all your answers.
I'm installing now VS 2005 and SQL Server 2005 and soon will be asking questions here :)

>When I first heard about hardware for Visual Studio 2005 I was told 1GB minimum. After I've played with it, I'd say get at least 2GB.
>
>Any model would probably do but make sure you get at least 2GB of RAM, a nice size hard drive (pretty common now) and a decent processor, whatever is "common" now (what is it like 3GHz?) I guess would do. If you could get a video card with some RAM on it that would be nice too since so you will not have to share the system RAM.

...Y soy feliz, bien feliz, asi lo grito;
Mira, que el mundo sepa, que se sepa:
Soy feliz....

...And I'm happy, quite happy, so do I yell it;
Look, so the world knows it, so be known:
I'm happy...
