Only if I knew for sure that the stuff was put on the net legally, I would mention it to others. I am really sorry to understand that you don't share that attitude!

Hi Tore.

I understand what you are saying, and I respect your position and your statement. I too refuse to spread information about illegal sites (Do you know that this one is so?). I too support the writers (I don't think there is a book published by Hentzenwerke that I haven't purchased, well, maybe there is one or two). However, consider the following in the same context.

There is noone takes it upon themselves to research and validate the legality of what most people and websites say or represent. To require this would be an unreasonable burden on anyone, unless it was their job to do so. I would also submit that all of the web content that feature subject matter about Visual Foxpro is legal as legal can be. I have not ever, in the history of the web or of foxpro, heard that any site is being operated illegally, or that it parlays illegal content.

Comming from this experience, I urge newbies, and any person desiring to be a programmer, that invests hard earned money in the purchase of Visual Foxpro sofware package, and who then asks to be refered to a place where he can learn, to go ahead and use the resources available on the internet, as I see no objective reason to assume that any of those places are improper. I may learn different, depending on what Kevin finds out, but until then, as I said earlier, I won't dampen the motivation and interest of a colleage.

And, Tore, mind you, I know of places in the web that do parlay illegal software, key breakers, etc., and I am one to not only not refer others to those places, but rather actively raise an accusing finger to them and indict them as places that should be ... put out of business in someway. The specific web site we aret talking about does not fit that illegality mold.
