Yeah, the original Planet of the Apes. Someone chose it for one of our "Granor movie days*" a few years back.

* That's where the 4 of us would go into the movie store and each choose a movie, with the rule that you had to pick something you thought everyone would appreciate. Saw some interesting films that way, and got the kids to see some classics.

I came to that one fairly late, too. Marshal and I rented it maybe 5 years ago and couldn't believe how good it was.
