You are correct, it hasn't affected me directly. But then, I've had to deal with the nightmare of government regulations on other levels, so it doesn't seem much different to me.

The thing, I think, that people forget too easily is that we are not dealing with agents of a foreign government. This is a much different kind of enemy, one that has already struck - and struck hard - on our own soil. There is a degree of "look at what I'm doing for you" to anything that Congress does, certainly - SOX is a great example of that - but on the whole I think the PA gives the gummint at least some of the tools it needs to deal with the threat.
